RPGaDay 2017, Day 3: How do you find out about new RPGs?

RPGaDay 2017 infographic

RPGaDay is an annual celebration of tabletop roleplaying. This is the first year I’ve tried to do it.

How do you find out about new RPGs?

I find out about new RPGs via word of mouth, almost exclusively. Sometimes that word of mouth is online, e.g. through some of the RPG communities on Google+ that I follow. More often, though, it’s through my local roleplaying friends. In particular, the most common way that I will play a new RPG is when it is chosen for the monthly RPG Book and Brunch club that I attend. A significant number of all the games I’ve played have been introduced to me via the Brunch Club. Thanks, y’all!
